Personal Care Aides

Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include leaning clients’ houses, doing laundry, and changing bed linens, shopping for food, and cooking. Aides also may help clients get out of bed, bathe, and dress. Total Care Aides will also accompany clients to doctors’ appointments or on other errands as well as provide instruction and psychological support to their patients. In addition, Total Care Aides will participate in team meetings in order to assist in the assessment, coordination, planning, monitoring, implementation, evaluation of client care plans.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma
Excellent Telephone Skills
Availability for ongoing on-site training
Verifiable Work Experience
Recent photo identification
Strong interest in seeking a career in health and human services
Ability to complete onsite written essay
